We burped tonight a 160.5 or something, with 8 subs, no damping, no tuning, doors completely leaking, no seats and one amp.

what equipment have you tested with besides the 8 subs?
like how many amps and battery's?

About the astro, we had no time to finish, so we (me , Brian and Jay, from Hamilton Audio, top installers around here that helps me a lot on my cars) just plugged 8 subs on a SD12kD in 2 ohms, just for fun at the show, and in fact was very nice, lots of people sitting on van (no seat though, haha), lots of fun and no numbers at all.

Need to say that the port is tuned to high freq, peaked at 73Hz, and we played low freq music like that, and the subs liked the power.

Geeze and I'm stuck at 43hz....I think we need to swap half of our tuning. I would (like to)kill [Roll Eyes] to be able to play 50hz or better.

Made it smaller and I gained [Smile]

Me and bandpass don't get along real well. Glad to see at least that a Astro van can play higer freq with good gear.
