now i have mounts for three amps on the bottom and two on the box amp rack which is spaced away from the box by batons on the outer edges so no box flex will be getting transferred to the amps (not sure if it would affect them, but it is done anyway ) just gotta drill holes for cables etc and then its front door time and wire all the speakers to the amps (subs are obviously wired up for now so i have bass ) --------------------

3 updates instead of three seperate posts update 1 - got the tweets in the factory location, the mids in the factory location, and wired up the lower three amps, along with a directed xover for the front speakers so they are active, sounds pretty good even without sound deadening, can't wait till thats done properly update 2 - got my new p88rs-II installed now, its changed the sound but it still sounds awesome for saying theres no deadening in the doors and the rear wants deadening more, me gonna be busy this weekend me thinks, sounds better than the polo already but that is after playing with the comps for a good few hours and various crossover points, settled on 3.5k eventually, gotta get it on the rta now and see how close i actually am to a balanced sound and see if i have any huge peaks i can knock down a little also wired in an ignition overide relay for bass race and another relay to flick the voltmeter on when the stereo is switched on and it now monitors the voltage at the rear busbars and not the diag socket pos and neg which also supply the brake switch/lights as it dropped 0.2v when i braked update 3 - the sound deadening on the doors has upped the score and the frequency now sitting at 144.1db at 48hz, but i'm still bass racing with young jeezy as its by far the easiest track to control --------------------
