6x9's fitted and rear shelf and rear quarters deadened [Smile]

 -

6x9's have a wooden baffle on top of the normal six by nine bracets, then wrapped in sound deadening to make an awesome seal [Smile]

this is my interpretation on a 6" x 6" square aeroport [Smile] the flares are two inch pine then planed to roughly the right shape, then hand sanded to get em perfect [Big Grin] i love it!!!

the front layer of the front face with t-nuts routered into the rear so they will sit between the two layers and not fall out or move [Smile]

 -

 -

 -

 -

the now modified port (to match the rake of the rear seat) is test fitted to check the t-nuts work ok, and then the expanding foam came out to seal off the boot aperture, all the way around the enclosure [Smile]

it peaks at 52 but is very flat from 30/35 to 60+, sounds pretty nice too, has lots more impact than the ele's in the polo, but not quite the raw power handling, might even try the ele's in the box [Smile]

30 - 134.6
35 - 136.7
40 - 137.5
45 - 137.5
50 - 138.1
55 - 138.5
60 - 137.7

the above scores are moderate volume

i then found the peak and did a few bass race runs and it does 139.9 straight out of the bag without breaking a sweat (or smelling of stinky coils! with a 48hz track

i am happy, its the most musical loud stereo i've had in a long while

subs are 2x fusion PP-SW120 12" dual 2ohm woofers and amps are 2x fusion PP-AM200010 1krms monoblocks

Very sweet build. Incredible skills.
I believe the british word "boot" is what we refer to as a "trunk".

Nice, it looks like it's pretty easy to hold the number for quite some time. Also that was a great start in the first video.

45 hz lill Jon push that ***** on the Kings of crunk.

Btw why are you wanting to play mid 40 hz? It looks like you would be playing mid 50 hz, like 55hz.

got that one, its 43 and not as consistent as young jeezy

and ahem, the spl figures were an oversight on my part of the small eq setting i had made when just listening to the stock speakers while installing the subs [Wink] oops, i forgot to turn it off, it actually peaks at 45/46 now i turned that off [Smile]

well, after fitting the busbars in the boot, i then decided to rip it all out as it just wasn't happening the way i'd planned and i threw my teddys out of the pram [Big Grin] then i had a new plan that went like this [Smile]

 -

live busbar fitted to the passenger side (suitably insulated!!!!), along with baby amp to remain hidden for the tweeters

 -

earth on the drivers side, still leaving access to the sat nav unit fitted inconvieniently

 -

batterys rewired with two runs of 1/0 and four gauge links courtesy of knukonceptz

 -

another three amps in there new home, two more will be fitted on the back of the enclosure that are an identical size [Smile]
