Why does that always seem to happen at big events? And I'm not talking about Hank, I've seen it happen to a few people.

yah i was having huge voltage issues making 1 amp to go into protect which makes 3 subs stop working because the amps are strapped. we ended up turning the gain down on the amp and finfing the point before the amp kicked out and ran full tilt at that point.
i also ended up smoking a sub in the final round of bassboxing. i pretty much did all my scores with 6 amps and 9 subs because the amp was in proection the whole time. so ive got some work ahead of me. i know i let ppl down but hey many of us there had tons of problems.

Whatever numbers it does, it sounds pretty damn loud. Ive heard cars that have more pressure on the low bass, but only other car Ive ever heard that actually stings your ears like that is Will Alfonso's truck.
Was real cool seeing some of you guys again, and meeting some others for the first time.

yah man thanks alot. we managed to get home with no issues. if i would have seen your design i would have already told u to invert because of the lack of breathing room with the baffle. hope i didnt blow your ears out when i was testing over and over trying to fix my lack of voltage problem with all the amps going into protect. im actually pretty happy with how i did considering the issues i was having with my setup.
hope too meet up with you again at finals at least again. hope u take my idea with the flaring of the baffle to help out with box size and help air flow from the subs.
it was also nice meeting all the competitors ive seen on here and having all the help as i could get when i got in the lanes for bassrace to find out that when i was demoing over in my area with the window down i blew apart the lift mechanism for my drivers side window. so DJ and i had to rip my panel off with the screws in it and was able to get the window up and tape it with ducttape and luckily it held. not to mention i ripped my door and bent it out this weekend as well. wat is sad is i was down 2.5db from before i redid the back and started having all my voltage issues which i think was caused by dead cells so i need to test all my batteries now.
oh and after blowing a sub in the final round of bassboxing i noticed i broke my steering wheel in half so i need a new steering wheel now.
so yah i would like to thank terry for the 5 minutes to fix my window and the members from team nemisis that helped me hold the doors and fix everything.
too many issues and not enough time is my motto for SBN this year. in testing with 2 amps in protect i did manage a 159.5 with 9 subs and 6 amps on my meter.
and Mick very impressed with your van and that u drove it all the way down there. big thumbs up to you.
like to thank Bob Parillo for whooping me after i gave him a 2nd chance after the screen messed up and we both turned our stuff off and then i turned it back on and it said i beat him. i wasnt going to let it go down like that so i figured we would run again even though i knew i would loose because i had to limp my system all weekend because of amps going into protect. was at a 159.5 against bob untill my amp kicked into protect and bob came back from his typical 109db start to whoop me haha. congrats man and hope all your equipment is ok.
DJ thanks for your help and good luck with what you decide to do with your setup if u do decide to change it. i am very impressed with how easy you make 4 18s loud. not to mention your 4 speakers for mids/highs that overpower 97% of everyones cars.
and congrats for all the people that won each class.
