and is that it, set in stone - use the bassrace disc in the 4th tie? Personally, I was hoping the dice roll was in, looks like I'll have to drop class just to ensure I can keep going in the event of a few ties then. great

If this is the case gonna have to get the cd then practice with all that is available on it. Not that it's gonna have many good songs for this format though. Any new info in the Rulebook? Other than what was posted?

I was looking at the rules and it's still listed as having 3X Bass Race events this season, this should help people gain there points faster than last year.

Does this mean I can use tracks that I produce in my home, or just that I can burn/Copy/Upload a commercially available song onto some other type of media (iPod, Burned Disc, MP3 Player, Thumb Drive) and use that?

You can only use commercially available music... nothing that you chop and screw at home. Burnt cd's are fine and so are Ipods, Thumbdrives, and any other form of storage

actually a chopped and screwed mix would be fine with the rules as they are as they are a custom, home made recording, my bass race tune could be a bought cd or a custom one with the pitch changed
and as for the rule about the randome track from the bass race cd, the bass race cd is not bass raceable tunes, just eight random tracks picked because wayne had access to them, so in all honesty, if i was forced to use the cd i would put it on as loud as i dare and risk losing, as the opposite competitor has to do the same, but this plays into the hands of the sponsored guy, i will put money on some poor new guys kit going south tho and probably putting anyone watching off bassrace for life! stupid rule, the dice would be far better!
and yes i have spectrum labbed the new bassrace disc, so i know how bad it really is
sorry wayne but this is a bad idea and will put people off bigtime! every competitor thats serious and good at bassrace in the uk thinks so! i for one will refuse to compete at any show where this is put into effect!! the dice roll is good, this is bad!
