I'd say if you stiffen up the voltage, get some more power, work on your starts, and find the perfect song then yeah it's possible to do. I've seen 147.8 out of 2 dd 10's in bassrace so it I'm can be done.

I have done a 149.7 with 2 10" American Bass VFL's, 2 500.1's on one Northstar G-2700 and a 300 amp alternator. This was done with a low start, so I'm sure its possible.

Now that's the kind of response that just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!
Would love to see the setup! Do ya got a trunk?

Yeah Eric's got a rex. He running Pro Comp SPL 10's and a 1000.1 now, but when he did the 149 in bassrace I do believe that he had 500.1's.

Current best 146.5 and I have never had any time on a meter to find a song with the right frequency for the GP. Keep your eyes open cause I'm gonna give ya a 49.9 with a pr. of 10's!
Currently burpin a 149.2. Theoretically If I can find the right song I should be alot closer to the goal than I am now.

New enclosure coming soon. Gonna stretch the port another 2 inches which will move the box forward.

I used one 300 amp alternator, one G-2700 battery, 2 VFL 10" subs, and 2 500.1 amplifiers to do a best of 149.7. The score doens't show on my stats page because it was a losing score. My highest winning score is a 147.9. The subs I used are Atomic APX/American Bass VFL/Procomp Engineering.....same subs, different dust caps. I used a 1000.1 for finals and SPL only. Plan to see more of this type bass race setup this year. Last season I tried it on a whim with no pratice time and no time to dial in the setup. Rest assured running in the 140-149.9 class is hard on those 2 little 10's.

But the question is, is will those subs take that kind of power for 30 seconds?
Sure, I can probably get a 149.9 out of a pair of 10's, but bassrace is a whole nother ball game.
You gotta have one of two things (both is even better): A) lots of headroom (burping a 153 for instance) or B) a d*mn perfect start every time.
