Id think a pickup with a top would make it easier to work on the box/batts/amps incase anything needs to be worked on, but then again, I dont know much lol

If you get a truck, it has to be red. then you can be on "bigredtruck.com" home of bass race runs, drunken behavior, and midget porn! that's what Justin from Team Baldman told me to make

I'm not going to use a "ton" of batts this go around...2 or 3 alts, and just a dozen or so batts. Hell I did the same score in the white truck with 22 batts as I did with 2 lol
Also if I do a truck...say I spend 2000 on a truck, then I have to spend 1000 for a nice snug top, or I could just spend 2k or so on a suburban and be done. I dunno...there are pros and cons of both ways

Like you said about the money a SUV is cheaper, but look at the cost in time. How long to cut and brace the truck vs install in the SUV.
Look at Cook. He got a truck with a factory blow thru in it and built it!
Yeah his avalanche is loud but I don't wanna buy a 30k dollar truck just to tear it apart lol
The only plus side to a truck is I can take the the snug off to work on it, but then again I have to spend another grand, cut it out, worry about the boot flexing and have to build inside that.
A suv would be alot easier I think and it would look better then a van IMO.
So I guess the suv is the way to go, now to start looking

I couldn't afford to buy the headlamps out of that thing, let alone the whole van

Well I don't know if this help's but I decided to try and get high numbers out of a smaller setup this year, So I went 91 civic and am putting 4-15" BTL's on four 2500 watt amps. It seemed to be alot less work to build this then my previous setup's like the Astro van I had, and 80' buick regal.
