Yeah it should be damn near impossible to get in the 159 class in a soft top with only 8000 watts. Most guys that run in 159 have over 30k watts to play with, and astro's or trucks with tops on them.

Welcome back Boyd.

We could use some more vehicles in the 59.9 class.

We look forward to seeing some build pics.

..The mdf is here, half the amps are here.Subs are ordered. It should be fun.I have a Hard top for it.But I doubt there has ever been a soft top jeep in the 50's.Maybe I won't make it..Maybe I will.Would be pretty neat to see what a soft top looks like with 150db+ lookin for a way out [Eek!] [Big Grin]

If it was a good idea, I think someone would have built it by now. Anyhow, best of luck.

Yes! Do it!
It will be sweet seeing that thing flap like a tent in a hurricane.
I bet you will draw a crowd with it.

A tapped horn would work good in it if only it had the room.

Good luck and cant wait to see it.

It should be fun...I just wanna see 150+ Bass Race out of a soft top.My top is tight and it doesn't move when everything is closed up..With a few people willing to hold my upper soft door halves in place I think we'll get there

I don't think roof flex is gonna be the problem. It blowing up and popping like a ballon is gonna be the problem [Eek!] [Big Grin]
