not enough wood glue to continue, so here's some pics.
here is one SIDE of the box...
all the wood is cut ready to be assembled. unfortunately i already had home depot cut it so i have to join the ends using picture number one in my other post in the subs and enclosures forum, cuz thats what length and width it was cut for. i doubt i'll notice any difference doing it this way and i'll be resining the inside and putting some 45s in there too
subs should be here before next weekend, so i'll have this done in time for wooster...woohoo wooster
amps arent coming till august so im guessing i'll have the new amps in by the road quake show. who knows
oh btw its gonna be four Fi btl 18s in 25 net cubes w/six 6" aeros tuned to whatever makes me loudest at 44hz...get crunk
will be running the 4kw's on them until my four groundpounder 3000s arrive...mmm
more wood glue and more pics tomorrow...

hello no 59. i just wanna do the 49 "comfortably"
id like to see it do what my wall in the mountaineer did (155 bass race 156 burp) if it does cool if not oh well im sure it's gonna be louder than 152 on a burp and 150 bass race.
food for thought...teamsubgoboom put two 21" subs in his expedition, loudest note is 41hz. i had four 15s, my loudest note was 47hz.
if i do 18s (in between 15" and 21") will my note be in the middle of 41-47...aka 44hz? i sure as hell hope so...
more pics tonite gonna get my resin on...omg is this box heavy, i should start calling it a vertically challenged wall its so big.

Ed, I think that a factor is also going to be the fs of the sub. I noticed when I switched subs in my car from a fs of 31hz to a fs of 43hz my note went from 45 to 51 hz. Then when I changed boxes and retuned the note went from 51 down to 48. I'm not sure what all of the factors are going to be to determine the car's peak, but I would say that if you're within a hert either way you'll be cool.

i'm sure that was more based on the way the enclosure was setup, rather than the cone area.
hope everything works out. did you get your back window fixed?

nah i still gotta goto the ford dealer and get a new hinge, ill quit procrastinating and go get it next week. lol
h0w bout some pics?
it looks like a giant sled
ah the smell of resin in the night...
rounded the corners...
as it sits now me and my helper (who is as strong as me) can barely lift and move this hunk of wood. so from here ill resin the inside then put the thing in the car. from there i'll put the top plate on, then the back side with the ports, then one more big piece on top to make it nice and flush. then go the subs in
doing it this way i really wont know if just two people could remove just the box (without subs) i think i'll go weigh my car right now without the box then weigh it after to know how much this sucker weighs
i'm estimating the box itself when finished to be 400 lbs + 300 lbs of subs = monster heavy
