is it possible for 1 person to run 2 vehicles in bass race? like one being under "Travis Atherton" in the 139.9 class, and "Team Infinate Audio" in the 149.9 class... but one person running both, I know the rules say a "Team" vehicle can be run by anybody but could I do this...

I wanna make something I can actually listen to... my street max van plays 59 hz and that's is.... while it looks cool, when I'm at a show people always ask me to play a song not just a note...

If you know the limits of the frequencies it can play (lowest to highest) make a cd/mp3 and use it for demoing. If you have a song that it Bass Races then it has to be more it can play.

Then there is no difference if i bring 3 cars or 4 cars or 5 cars. Whats wrong if I bring 8 cars and run under 8 different names?
Your score determines your class, what if all the cars fall under the same class?
It is totaly against the spirit of the competition for many reasons
one qualifying attempt puts pressure on you to do well. Ask anybody that qualified with a 130.0 Having multiple vehicles takes away that pressure(gives you a second chance)
competing in brackets where you have more than one vehicle WOULD NOT assure a competitive match. How does anybody know if there is a competition , instead of a lay down. A real dissapointment to the spectators coming to watch
Building two cars and having two different people opporate them under two different names is a DIFFERENT STORY
Travis bring two vehicles. Get another teammate to operate the second vehicle.

Well I still think that if you do different classes it doesnīt mather! We need MORE vehicles into the lanes and if we can get that, in what way does it mather if itīs by the same guy/girl?

You will never compete against your self because thatīs impossible.. And as I said, thereīs no problem as long as you do DIFFERENT classes.

Well really no, it doesnīt mather if I qualify with 130.0 or 139.9 as long as I want to do the 130-139 class... After one Bass Race competition almost everybody knows what class they are going to run the next time and it isnīt hard to qualify into the class you wanna run (if itīs hard you are in the wrong class!). You canīt get first and second place in the same class because you canīt run two cars at the same time.

BUT if you bring two vehicles to the same show and have a friend/girlfriend to compete with it you can then compete in the SAME class AND get a lay down!

I believe that Sam is pointing out that no class is ever guaranteed if you have 2 cars and one is in 30-39 and one is in 40-49 what happens if you overshoot the lower class or have a problem in the higher class and end up in the same class?

Bass Races unquie classification system allows you to qualify in any class you want to (or maybe not - see the 3 examples below)
I bring 3 cars to the show
1st car I qualify with a 130.0 I was trying to qualify witha 129.9 but I broke out during qualifying and I am in the 130 class
2nd car I trying to qualify with a 149.9 but my amps go into protect and my score drops to a 138.7 so I am in the 130 class
3rd car I qualify with a 139.9 I am in the 130 class
Lucky for me there is only a total of 4 cars in the 130 class. I just have to beat myself twice to win!!!!! I say to myself - This is cool (because no one else will talk to me). oh oh what if I tie? Who do I root for ME MYSELF or I?
Kim I have absolutely no problems with competitions in my area. We average over 30 competitors per bass race. The competitions are fun and HARD CORE
The only problem I see are people who screw with the formula of success so they can have an unfair advantage.
1 qualifying run 1 person 1 vehicle - the formula works
Having someone competing in the 120, 130 and 40 class - how does that bring more people to the sport? That has to be the biggest turn off . Any rookie seeing the same guy in every class has to say omething fishy is going on.

I donīt like your attitude Sam! Thereīs no need to talk to me as if Iīm retarded.
I guess you didnīt get my point, thereīs not that many that want to compete with two cars, in Sweden we have ONE guy. Is this a big issue in the States?
And as I told you, different classes = No problem. If you qualify into the same class well then your first qualify run is the one that you are going to run in the brakets and the other car/s are out of the competition.
There can be a problem when people let others compete with their car/s, then you can have a lay down.

Because you canīt compete against your self with two cars at the same time...
And if you are stupid enough to qualify into the same class, well you only have your self to blame.
And if you do it like this the competitors will only have one qualify run each in each class, no mather how many cars they have.

you fail to realize alot of GREAT competitors still from time to time qualify with 130.0 or 140.0, not because they are stupid, because bass race is unpredictable. the best guy could be the biggest loser at a show.
