In the DB rules, it states that for trucks equipped with jump seats, it will be allowed to have them folded up and stowed away for comp. What about ext. cab trucks that have a full folding rear bench? My truck's rear bench will fold 100% flat which would actually creat a false floor. IMO this would be the same as fold up the jump seats. My arguement ios this, in a car, folding the seat down and placing an enclosure on top of it isnt right. It dont look right, not safe, and many other reasons. However in the truck with jump seats, when folded up it is as if they were never there at all. My rear bench is about the same, when folded down to a flat surface, it is as if it was never there at all. I really wanted to stay in street class, but without clarification on this rule I will be forced to go to Super street.
