I think this rule really needs to be addressed. I realize the main reason for this rule is to protect the dBDra from "hearing loss" lawsuits but it could be changed a little anyway. Yesterday at a small show of only 20 cars, 4 cars (that i know of) didnt play in the final and semi-final rounds because of the remote not working through the window. One guy started beating his remote against the window, one shattered his remote on the ground, one punched his deck, and the other said "oh well". Most of the kids there had no idea until after the show started that they would have to control their system from outside the car if over 140db.

I think the rule should only be enforced at world finals and maybe 3x events especially with sooo many street 1-2 cars doing well over 140db. At 1x and 2x make it 150db or say "The dBDra strongly advises against being inside the vehicle over 140db" but no DQ if you do!

This rule doesnt really affect me because i am Extreme class with a podium, but it makes me feel bad when i see a new competitor really trying to win and then gets eliminated because his car stereo wont play from outside the car!
