lmao mike, its not greg you have to worry about there, his hands are tied like the rest of KCG, he can only do so much. Its the higher-ups that tell greg what to do Posts: 8814 | From: over yonder | Registered: May 2001

yeah...i heard Kicker had turned their USACi booth over to Kawasaki, Yamaha, and Suzuki for the unveiling of the 2004 model dirt bikes!
maybe thats why there isn't room for the Bronco
==DISCLAIMER== dont freak out Greg, you know i'm joking!

So, please come by and say hello and goodbye to one much loved old bronco.
What'd I miss? Wheres it going? Touring in California maybe? [/QB]
I am retiring the Beast after the USACI finals and it will be going into storage until I figure out what is best for its' future. Hopefully, I can find a museum that would like it. If not, I am sure we will figure something out. It will never be sold nor destroyed.
I will be joining Team JBL for next season and we are building another 88 bronco which is scheduled for competition next season. Our due date is SBN in March, but there is so much work to be done on this one. We are starting from the ground up and building it the right way this time.
It will be loud, legal, beautiful, and sound good. So, in a way, the beast is not really going away - think of it as being re-incarnated!!!
Oh yes, the "genius" behind this install is none other that Gary Biggs..

Its not going to be the same without the beast at major events.
There will be another Beast at shows, just not this one. The new install is in another 88 bronco. I am going back to silver though - that red showed everything. Trust me, we will be back in great shape..lol in more ways than sound.

Great move going silver for the next one, the Beast never looked better than in the PPI days IMO.
I have one of the Bronco's old 10" PPI woofers autographed by Alma along with the PPI poster framed for display in our new store.
Good luck next year,
Philip

I seem to remember an explorer a while back that had a very impressive SQ system in it
LOL - yes you do. We also had an F350 which took a world record in 1996. I still don't know very much about sound quality. Patrick was the force behind the sound quality cars. I love SQ, but I also love the excitement and immediate gratification that goes with the SPL venue.
I will leave the sound quality to my JBL Team Mates, Gary Biggs and Mark Eldridge and Larry Chijner. You know, we have quite a few Sound Quality members in Team Gates. Thats nice!!!!
