Liz,

Actually the Sound FX show wasn't MOVED to the 30th, it was ALWAYS the 30th, but Mike Jaffe made a mistake in his newsletter that he mailed out is all. He updated everyone via Email about the error in the mailed letter. (also apparently the USAC site was incorrect as well if that was your source).
www.caraudioevents.com is the place to check for new or updated show listings for USAC Outlaw SPL though.

Oh, and it's Tucson, not Tuscon. Been in AZ for a couple months and still can't get it right?

Kevin

Those were cut and pasted from the respective web sites. I can spell Tucson just fine, as I pointed out at the Mesa dB Drag show up on Powerline.

hehe, Yeah, I looked at the USAC site and noticed it was listed that way, and Tucson was spelled wrong there. I figured you just cut and pasted after I saw that.

I guess those goons don't know what they're doing after all?

I must have missed that one, or overlooked it. It's all Jaffe's fault I'm sure. hahah

(just kidding if you are reading Mike)

So, Liz, you gonna be there tomorrow? We're more than likely going to be there. I had to register the car today, because it was a month and a half overdue, but now that that is straight, I can drive it up there without fear of a ticket (for that anyway). Unless something drastic occurs between now and then, I'll be there.

Kevin

I had wholeheartedly planned on it, but last night Ellyn asked me to help her with her accounting consultant work, which pays about $20/hr. I've already earned about $60 doing easy stuff, so of course, I had to put it off. Next weekend, Tucson, most definately. I'll hitch a ride with Alma if she's going, otherwise I'll get lost on my own.

That's cool. It was a good show, but not as good as the Sound FX event though. still had fun, and got to take home that 1st place trophy again, so I'm happy anyway.

the show in Tucson is pretty easy to find. If you just head down I-10 East until you hit Tucson, and keep going to the Grant Road Exit, exit there, go East on Grant (left of course), follow Grant to Oracle, and turn right, the shop (Sound FX) is right there on the SouthEast corner (on your lefthand side hehe), behind a Chevron or Circle K or something, with a big dirt lot next to them, and a titty bar right next to that. You can't miss it really.

Show up if you can. We'll be there, hoping for a three-peat.

Exactly! Spend all that hard earned cash right next door. haha

So you think you are going to make it?

Oh, that bar I mentioned before tends to send one of their hotties over to hand out a free drink coupon, to lure people in. So, you would at least have a reason to go over there too. heh
