just writing too say hello and that we miss your competitions out here in phoenix and surrounding communities
i work for a large electronics retail corperation called ultimate electronics or as yall would know it that direction sound track i have been trying too help the regionals understand and justify a competition of this size but there has been a constant rejection of the primary justification being money
i myself have been looking for a large organized event in the region that many of the higher end vehicles can compete in here such as mine and alot of others that i have built for other individuals
well too make a long story short i am wondering if there is any way of getting a descent comp going here in the city we havnt seen a good one for at least 3 years
as an addition rockford is here so is mtx and a few others just as well if you cant help could you at least point me in a direction to try too get a massive gathering of subs and amps @ 60 hz in the same place as a mic all at once
and lastly could you please give my guys that are some of the hardest working installers a hats up for the excellent jobs they all perform and keep a smile on all the customers faces
thanks again mom and love ya keep up the excellent work you have left a neverending love and hunger for auto audio in my heart

I hear you. When we first started, IASCA was based in Phoenix and Wayne Harris lived in Arizona and worked for RF. We had several companies in this area - RF, Mitek (MTX, Xtant, Coustic), PPI, Lightning Audio, Illusion Audio, Orion, etc. Even then, there was very little competition in this area. There are less companies now and even less competition. Mike Jaffe is here and has been busy with USACI - but most of his shows are not in Phoenix. He goes where the dealer wants to promote car audio and competition.
I don't have an answer to this problem. It seems the major interest in car audio competiton has been in the mid-west and east. That is one reason why I leave the rig and bronco in Oklahoma. The majority of shows we attend are in these areas and it saves thousands of miles.
