Kim, I don't know if Greg received pictures or not, but you can email him and ask. GDavis@kicker.com. Greg is in charge of the Kicker Competiton Group and I know he would love to have some pictures of your system.

I know a fellow competor that uses the 18" solo x and he ripped the coil down the middle at a show in tallahasse 2 wks ago. I have been hearing alot of problems with KICKER SPEAKERS lately. Are they being made differently that are are not worth the money?

If you had any kind of failure other than a burnt coil, then it should be covered under warranty. We have had excellant reliability on our drivers, Kevin Koller just replaced his after 1.5 years and a ton of records, and Mike Hughes went a whole season on his stock L710's with over 4 thousand watts on each. He did take out a few when he doubled the power tho! G

We have 48 of the S10L7s in the bronco. We have used and abused those things and seldom blow any of them. We have blown some - but its minor when you consider what we do. We are basically a free air situation when we do the demos and that is hard on products. The L7 is a great little woofer.

So far the Solo X's have been good to me. I run SS 1-2 class in dB Drags. I have eight KX1200.1 to them. My loudest is 157.2 with no alternator and dead ass batteries. Just hand built a bracket for an alternator and next week I hope I can sweet talk Micheal Hughes to Finish helping me tune her. He says he wants me on stage. I think that I'm the only one in my class running all KICKER!!! I will have to agree with Kim "they do ROCK!!!!"
I want to Thank Micheal Hughes for his time that is so priceless for helping me. I know that I have quiet some folks about KICKER only being good for a Sound Quality (SQ) vehicle. I hope to FINISH it in Nashville. See you all there. Keep Livin' Loud!! I know I am.

I know that some two of my eight were going into protection. After about three fried KX1200.1. We decided to change the sub that it was hook up too. Now everything is working great! The sub didn't look like anything was wrong with it but I guess it had a bad coil. You might want to try to switch out the sub. Hope this works for you. Good Luck at Finals.

I still have not heard my baby yet I have been hearing alot of good things about them though. I am sitting here looking at it on my floor right now. I am getting another one and will be competing in ss1-2 next year. I REALLY wish I could run kx1200.1's but to have 8 of them would cost me over $9000 and I only make $13 an hour so I will be running modded D2's and hopefully I will put up some good numbers.
