My car with the X in it plays 79 hz on my meter, and 79 hz on the new termlab. I have only been on the tew termlab once... and that was in Dallas, so I haven't had any play time with it to see how it responds to different frequencies.

We will be testing the bronco soon. I know our frequency is around 50hz. We have no idea what it will do on the new TermLab. Results just what we assumed - would have do redo that darn box and it's just too expensive and too much work for the end result. Beast is retired from competition. The old girl can still do things that many cannot, so we will continue to do the marketing bit and show her off.

Im not THAT expensive and its never tooo much work!
and by the way....im still playing 67Hz. No change from the old Termlab.
Mike - thank you and I know you could make a difference in the Beast. But at this time, it would have to be completely torn down to the base and rebuilt. That would take it off the road too long and we have several obligations the rest of the season. I talked to my group and we all agree we can do more good with the Beast to just continue with the tour and do the demo bit this season. The car is still impressive and loud. Open the doors and we rock the world - shut the doors and we have cancellation!!!!!!!

You notes didn't change, but did you change the setup either. I would expect a setup designed to peak at X Hz on the old meter to peak at X Hz on the new meter. The real question would be this:
If on the old meter you had 2 setups, one that did a 160 at 50Hz and one that did a 160 at 65Hz, which one would be louder on the new meter, or would they meter exactly the same.
I am going through this debate as well, I have a low tuning and a high tuning, that on the old meter were within 1 dB with the same equipment. The frequency is more than 20 Hz apart. I have no clue as to which one will be louder on the new meter.
