I flew into Chicago last Wednesday and met Wayne and we flew on to Frankfort arriving on Thursday, where we met Sam Horn and the Detlef. From there, we traveled to Sinsheim where the show was going to be held. Speed is an interesting thing in Germany - there doesn't appear to be too many speed limits. Some of my friends would have a blast on those roads.

We stayed there rather late getting the db drag booth put together and the new TermLab talking. I am really impressed with what Wayne has developed. It is one awesome piece of equipment.

We all went to dinner later - I asked Detlef to order me a traditional German meal. I am not sure what I ate, but it was good! From there, we checked into the Business Hotel in a nearby town. Nice clean rooms and quite comfortable. I had forgotten about the German Comforters. They are downfeathers inside a sheet. Its like a feather mattress but it goes on top.

Friday, back to the convention center. They guys finished the booth and the show opened to the industry that afternoon. I was amazed at the size of the show and how many people attended. There were many American companies there as well as European. Actually, Fusion was there and they are from New Zeland. I love that alien...Great marketing tool.

Saturday the show opened to the public and it was so full of bodies that you had problems moving. Absolutely amazing. The judges had problems moving the cars into the lanes just because of so many people.

I was asked what was the biggest difference between the German show and American shows - my answer was the Language! Many cars - other than brand - looked very much like the installs you see here. The cars were much smaller, but some very nice installs. LOL and we had some "typical" spl install as well.

I met some wonderful people at this show. Many had been in contact with me via internet and I was finally able to put a face with a name. Friday afternoon, Katrien and Christof arrived from Erpe-Mere, Belgium. Christof came to compete and Katrien to be with me. LOL - Wayne put her to work!!! The rest of the Belgium group arrived late Saturday night.

I want to thank Wayne for letting me tag along with him. It was one of the best shows I have attended. Sam Horn is a nut, Yiannis and Detlef are wonderful. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I got to meet and visit with the Audiowave group - Marc, Udo, Dirk, Thomas and team. Michael and friends were there in good form. Tom and the Team CAD shared their Bovarian Beer. Good stuff. There were so many others that I met and cannot remember their names.

There was so much that happened and I know it's probably boring to you all - so - a BIG THANKS to everyone in Germany for a wonderful weekend.

Hello Alma

It was nice meeting You in Sinsheim. Even if it was just for couple of short words.

I am glad that you liked show and competition, and I hope to seee more US competitors at least as spectators in Sinsheim which is THE MOST international competition in the world.

Best regards

Peter (from Slovenia)

Hello Peter,
It was my pleasure meeting you. I wish we had more time to visit, but there was so much going on and time just seemed to fly.

Sinsheim was truly an international show. Do you have any idea how many countries were represented at the show?

I have no Idea about show part, there were almost all German Distributors, many USA people from industry, many people from far East Asia...

And on dB Drag competitors were from:

1. Germany
2. Austria
3. Belgium
4. Slovenia
5. Croatia
6. Switzerland
7. Netherlands
8. USA
9. Luxemburg
10. Grece
11. Madeira
12. Russia
13. Finland
14. France

Writen in random order! Im sorry if I forgot someone, maybe Detlef or Wayne should know all.
