I installed a 12 L7 (d4)in a vented 250 box using the exact specs from ther site (2.5 cube). It was powered by a Lanzar 1200d and the subsonic was set to 25hz.
However the sub was not playing low frequencies . When i tested it on another system the lows were playing at quarter of the volume that the high bass was playing (using the same volume).

When i checked the dimension on the box on a box calculator program , it shows the box tuned to 40hz . In order to get the box tuned to the 34 hz the port lenght shold have been 26.5 inches rather than 16.5.I lengthened the port (to 26.5 inches) and it started playing low notes very good .

Am i right or am i doing something wrong .
I didnt add pollyfill can you tell me how much to add.And where to set the subsonic filter with this new port length.

Tracy is not in Stillwater right now. He was with me at the IASCA finals and should be back in Oklahoma tomorrow. I forwarded your message on to the techs and hope they will get an answer to you shortly.

Hang in there, Kid!

You must add the port to the 2.5'...that is closer to 2.8' of box with port included....like for example the 3.25' box is 3.64' total port included volume....
