There are a couple of USAC Outlaw SPL shows coming up. One is on the 25th in Phoenix at Innovative Car Stereo at 2710 W. Bell Road #1111

and another show on the 30th (nighttime show) here in Tucson, at Sound FX on Oracle Road. (don't have the address in front of me, or the phone #, but if you are interested, just drop me an email and I'll give you all the info you need, or you can check the USAC website as usacwest mentioned).

I'll be attending these two shows more than likely, so if you want to meet up, let me know. (we weren't going to attend the 25th show, because we were trying to make it to the Import Nationals/dB Drag event in Anaheim california, but we're too damn broke to go to that one right now). Oh well, there is always next time. Unless of course someone wants to send us some money to help support our cause, and get us to Cali and back. I think we spent roughly $520 last month for a trip to Studio City and Long Beach, but we could probably cut back to around $400 since I don't have to buy a new trailer hitch this time. hahah

That show was to be in Chandler, and it was Cancelled, last I heard.

Honestly, I'm suprised by the lack of show activity in the area. There's usually once a month in any major metro area, but I'm seeing about 1 a month cancelled. Maybe what these boys need is some competition in their own back yard.

I mean, Phoenix and Tucson isnt nearly as hot as Havasu has been, but still pretty hot to be walking around.

There were actually egg frying contests this weekend here.. people tossing eggs on the sidewalk to see who's cooked up faster!

Nonetheless.. anyone that wants to send me some new tires for my truck, I need P215 75R14's.. then I'll drive out to PHX and TUC to catch some shows.. =)

Check out the dB Drag schedule in this forum for shows, also - the USAC Schedule that the guys gave you. There may be some IASCA spl events locally also - IASCA.Com I think. I agree with you all - its a shame there is so little competition activity in this area when we have the majority of Car Audio production here.

Perhaps in the future - that can be changed.

The show wasn't cancelled, it was originally scheduled for the 11th, but due to a charity event that was scheduled for that same date (all entry fees went to a trust fund for a little tyke who's mother was just tragically killed in a car accident) they re-scheduled for the 25th. Same location, same show, just a new date. All the info is listed at http://www.caraudioevents.com

Mike, you best find some damn tires, or strap on some damn rollerblades and get your ass down to some of these shows, especially the ones up closer to you (not close enough I know), and hang out with us! Moved all the way to Arizona and yet we never see you! What's up with THAT? heh

We (wife, baby and myself, as well as another car I built) should be in Phoenix for the Innovative show. You are talking about the one on the 25th right? Just look for the ugly white BMW and the ugly fat guy driving it (me). haha

There is another Outlaw event scheduled for Friday the 30th down here in Tucson at Sound FX. It's a nighttime show, so should be great! Lot cooler too! You coming down for that one?

I too was wanting to go to California for the big show, but we just went there last month, and it cost us a bundle. If I had the funds to get the car dolly to tow my car there, or if I had someone else that was headed that way and wanted to tow it for me, we'd be there! Gotta get some more points for dB Drag, and there are just no shows scheduled here right now!

Alma, if we can arrange an event down here (not sure exactly when yet) would you be willing to honor us with your presence? I know you always have a busy schedule, so I'd have to get a date set for the show and then see if you are free, but I figured I'd ask about it now before I forget.
