As of today, the Bronco schedule has changed. I will be at the db drag finals, but the Bronco will be heading out west to attend the SEMA show in Las Vegas.
As soon as I get more information, I will let you know. So, anyone in the Vegas area not attending finals, please come by and visit.

Thanks, but this was my decision. I first told them no, but the more I thought about it, well, I changed my mind. We have the opportunity of getting national tv coverage for the bronco, Team Gates, my sponsors, and the industry as a whole, which we will not get at db drag. There, the bronco is just part of the Kicker booth doing its thing which is just what it should be doing at that show because you competitors should be the "stars" of the show, not us. Then on the very selfish side, without the beast, I get to move around and really enjoy finals for the first time!!!!

yea, I heard rumor it wasn't going, but then I heard what was planned for it at the next outting, and WOW , looks like you will be getting some serious coverage out of the other show.
Now I wished I was going to SEMA.........
Rats, I always miss the 'good' shows....

Good point Alma, maybe a few other competitor cars will take the broncos place in the name of spectator satisfaction, Im sure alot of people who go to the show would Love to feel what alot of vehicals have to offer rather than just seeing them.

On second thought Alma, sounds like you made the right decision afterall. Looks like the positive far outways the negative. See ya in Nashville.

As always alma you seem to have made a choice to help promote car audio instead of what would be a more "funner" choice. You are amazing. I have seen noone help and support the industry more than you. You are truly a great role model!!

Glad to hear of your decision; I think this is the Best of Both Worlds; Kicker gets to show off the Bronco to lots of people who may have never seen it before, and get some Excellant TV and Magazine coverage, while we get YOU...which is even better than having the Bronco!
Looking forward to seeing and chatting again at Finals!
Besides...I think it is time for Ians Van to sport a "Team Gates" sticker, if you wil allow us too!

Bryan, I agree, but it is very difficult for competitors to show off their cars and compete at the same time. Most of them are so fine tuned - yes even for spl - that it's difficult to do any demos in that mode. Also, most competitors do not want to take the chance of blowing something up at competition. The demos are usually after the event and then most people have gone. Sucks but that's the way it is.

Unless something breaks on the road from Vegas to Louisville - the bronco will be there Friday night! Ed will be leaving Vegas early Wednesday and traveling to Louisville. I fly in on Thursday. So we will see you in Louisville.
