July 30th, I will be undergoing some minor surgery - this is a first! As many of you know, I have had problems with my lower right eye lid. I have been referred to many doctors and got many different opinions. Finally, my othomologist suggested I see a plastic surgeon who specializes in eyes.

Anyway, he has told me the same thing that several others suggested.. I have some nerve damage to the lid and need to have some work done on it..so - an incision will be made in the lower right corner of the lid, lid tighened up and then they will do an incision below the eye lid and tighten up the flabby flesh there that has been causing me problems. LOL - since I cannot be lop sided - the other eye will also be done..So this old lady is getting plastic surgery!!!!

ROFLMAO!!! now I am looking at the rest of me and have decided that there is not enough money in my account to take care of all the winkles!!!!!!

This is going to be a piece of cake and hopefully end the problem. Nothing is more frustrating than having eyelashes fold down inside your eye.

Having had the occasional lash get stuck in a contact, I can't imagine the pain and irritation having them ALL flipped inside out would be.

We'll hold down the fort and won't let anything really good or fun happen around here without you. [Smile]

And I thought my black eye was a tragedy. [Big Grin]
