I am still around. Bronco is undergoing major reconstruction. We are redoing the entire rear end - decided that because it's a spl vehicle - it should be beautiful underneath also. Heck, may do SQ just for the install! LOL It's really slow going because of the new design. We decided that since we are doing all new products, interior should also be new.

Thanks for asking

That question is still floating around.

We have been so busy trying to keep up around here that 64 woofers has sort of been pushed to the rear. Focus has been on rebuilding the bronco and Explorer.

That bronco is like giving birth, you forget what you went through until you do it again!

If you will check out the records in db drag, you will find that Mr. Henry did not beat Team Gates. I have been in competiton with him only once and that was the first 1999 db drag competition at the USAC finals in 1998. The B&K was brought in for the final run and the Bronco scored a 169.6 (I understand this was the highest legal number ever recorded on the B&K) I think and Henry did a 167something. Its in Waynes records.

1998 is over and done. Its time to look to the future and get on with competition. I wish John and his team only the best.

Lol...I still love alma's responses to question like that.

Kinda funny...I also tend to forget that head to head like alma said John never did beat them in a head to head show down...

This should be a VERY interesting year...

i never saw anyone using ppi subs for spl competition when alma kicked ass. Have you guys seen big numbers by kicker lately? That is the question i asked my self when alma started using ppi and i became a fan of her.

Just wondering.... what is the projected time of completion for the Bronco and do you feel it will be soon enough to get the points needed to qualify for Finals? We are looking foward to the competition. The Griz has questioned.

Hello Grizz, welcome to my little world. The bronco will be out sometime in August. At this time, competiton in Db Drag is unknown. We will be able to compete in USAC though. The bronco will be at the finals - it may just be on display for Wayne. If its finished in time, and we can make enough shows on the West Coast, perhaps. But I am not holding my breath on this one. I truly wish you and your team the best.

No thank you. In the past I was very active on this site helping others and was a Moderator. There are a selected few that have a very negative attitude towards MAD and carry that on to this site. It ruined my enthusiasm so I just sign on every now and then. Thanks for the info though. The Griz has spoken.

No problem. One nice thing about this forum, if I don't approve, I can zap. I try to keep this a safe place for my friends to communicate. Patrick was my first - so if I do that to my own son - LOL

You are always welcome in here.

A polite person does not ask the cost of other peoples possessions. I spent enough to do what I wanted to do. As far as John is concerned - you will have to ask him. My friends and I are in here to interact and visit. I am not concerned or interested in what happened in the past. My team and I are looking to the future as you should do also. At this time, I am going to lock this topic.
