Hello, I am still in Daytona visting Metra/Tsunami. I will be home late tonight.
Show was good, but crazy. We had the bronco on display only here. It's on the way back to Stillwater and should be there early tomorrow.
We had problems Sunday - the motor mount sort of broke. But the guys managed to get it chained in place enough to load it.
Michael Hughes left yesterday also for New Mexico and is stuck on the west side of Florida with broken axle on his trailer. Should hear from him soon on that one.
More information to follow as I hear. It's been a very long weekend!
Also, thanks to everyone who came by to visit and especially thanks to a very special person for the Brownies!!!!!! Krisa, Cheese cake was great!

Did they get the smoked amp taken care of? I spotted it in the form of one of the tens making noise when it wasn't supposed to be on saturday. (Facing the passenger side of the bronco from the starboard side it was the very top left sub.)
How on earth did the motor mount break? fatigue?
Well I enjoyed the cheesecake party and the hair do I got as well as seeing you again. I wish I had had time to make the darn key lime pie for you....(the spl gremlins attacked me and yota full force - grrrr) Maybe at finals this coming year.

I wanted products in the bronco that anyone can purchase. I was really uncomfortable with the G woofers because we could not get them into production for everyone.
The New S10L7s are loud, sound good, and are available at all kicker dealers - it is a stock product. They are the same ones that Michael did the 174.8db with in db drag.

Also, when we have the door open and the top off, it is a true freeair situation. There is nothing holding the woofer - it's just flopping in the breeze. I am constantly amazed that we do not destroy more products than we do with the current install.

The new woofers are more efficient and not as power hungry.
We have not measured the bronco. The frequency has dropped from 67 down to 46hz. Don't hold me to those exact numbers, but its in that range. . big change there. Playing with the bronco this weekend, we have much more activity going on in the back..since Texas Heat Wave, the shell has been bolted on and even with the bolts in place, that shell is jumping out of the forward slot and moving backward.
The guys just had time to get the woofers in and wired before leaving for Daytona. They will do more testing as time permits. LOL, the bronco is definitely turning into a "Beast".. I love that low growl it has developed...from 117 to 46 is quite a change.

Alma, with all of the recent competitions and records being broken, and people hitting higher and higher, do you think that the "beast" will be making a comeback anytime soon? I just wanna see her in action too

The bronco will not be competing this season. In order to have been competitive last year, we needed to tear it completely down and replace that woofer enclosure.
There was not time to do it in 2001 and 2002 is going to be just demos - so again - it's not necessary to do that. We are still one of the loudest and most powerful units without making major changes.
I think this weekend proved that we can still cause things to shake, rattle, and roll!
The bronco now has 48 stock S10L7 woofers and will soon have new amps and 12volt batteries. We are working to make sure all products in the bronco are available to the public.
My goal this year is just to have fun and let as many people as possible meet, see, hear, and feel the power of my beast.
Our next show will be April 6 & 7th in Lawton, Ok.. The bronco will be there - so anyone in that area, come visit.
