I promised a friend in our graphics department I'd participate this year in the relay for life at the end of March. She beat cancer (she's the one who printed the little mod/dbs badges and laminated them, called in the favor to do relay for life). Well the relay is the same weekend as SBN and Tuner Jam. What I'd come up with to help raise money for the American Cancer Society was a raffle at a couple shows I have coming up next weekend.
However, in light of what's happened with BigNutz and Jliehr's mother and grandmother, the idea struck me to see if other members of the forum were perhaps interested in kicking in with me on making my donation in their honor. Both of these guys have been integral parts of our "online family" and the dbDrag community. The members of dBs discussed this at our meeting last night, and are going to send donations to go with my raffle proceeds. Every dime goes a long way in finding a cure for cancer, and preventative education and I think together we can make an impact. If you're interested in kicking in, please let me know.
