ooogh ooogh , count me in alma you sighned my shirt at world finals in nashville this past season, but i didnt get any stickers, i was the guy from new york,jeff from team car tunes. hey what do you do with all the pictures your photagrapher took? my camera descided to be miserable and i lost the photos of you sighning the shirt my shirt . you put it on my back remeber ? well prolly not but if ever come across them i would love to display them in my trouphy case, those pics the team gates stickers , and the memories will be better than nothing for my first trip to finals . jeff

That is a very good rule. I dont want guys our there driving around getting the term "Boom Car". Thats the most irratating 2 word phrase ive heard since I started car audio 5 years ago.
As for gaining SPL its true. I was doing 141's legal, put on the decal and gained a db legal and about 5 db outlawed.

Those are excellent guidelines for anyone to follow, especially those who represent the Team.
I'd offer to join the ranks, but I don't think I can wash enough ugly off of me (or the s-10) to be presentable.... . "We bent the rules to allow him *pointing @ UB* in here....what were we thinking?!"

hey ma, just wondering if i could get some log's as well, iam just starting work at a local caraudio shop, and i would love to put a decal on the fron door, as well as one on my spl truck in creation. as long as canadian are alowed to be part of team gates aswell

I have never met uncle ber, but I know him through this board... From what I've seen over the past year, I say he would be a good dude to have on team gates.

I got a good double shot.. I now have the Team Gates Logos, but I also have THE JESTER HATS !!.. last year in Padre, I let Ed wear one while he was in the lanes, gained .6dB. Charles Estes wore one at finals, and Jon Fisher's van WON S 3-4 !!!

Nah - I owned a BII...I couldn't kill that thing (I tried - college). Built just as tough as an s-10....for light/medium duty Hell Raising...they rule!!
The bronco was one of the most dependable cars I have ever owned. The problems today are the result of being an abused SPL vehicle. It was our only 4WD vehcile - so we took it everywhere. Just throw our stuff and Patrick in the back and go!

how abut a Type R sticker on the amps so they put ut more power :P
dont forget it needs to have yellow somewhere in the sticker for it to work like that:-)

I also got my membership packet with my decals and stickers, postcards, etc. I would just like to say thatnks again to Alma, and I will make sure that I follow all of the guidelines set forth by previous members of Team Gates, and I will make sure that I get my other team mates, on other teams to follow and abide by these guidelines. As most of you know, I have always been adament about having cars open during events.
Some things that happened during 2001 have been brought to my attention and after much thought, I feel that they must be addressed.
First of all, there is no accusations, no naming, no blaming, no nothing. Just voicing my opinion on a couple of items.
During db drag finals and IASCA finals, a couple of competitors had mentioned that their cars had been tampered with. I really didn't think much about it until I was talking to a friend recently and mentioned my concern and was told that they had indeed seen someone tampering with a car at IASCA.
No proof, no nothing. But the thing is people - winning is not a life or death situation - but we all work our butts off do to the best we can do with what we have and no one has the right to mess with our systems.
So, please watch your systems and show them off if you feel comfortable.. I hate doing this, but darn it - all it takes is one person messing up the enjoyment for others. The sad thing is that you never know who could be tampering with that amp while talking to you. Just watch and be careful and have fun.

Messing with other people's systems is a low blow.
Alma could you do me a favor, when you are in Daytona, if you see a huge silver Excursion, with NOLMT1 on the tag, with an alpine border around it, please tell him to lay off the alcohol, he called me last night and sounded like he was about to die.
