Alma, what can you tell us about the Honda CRX that is supposed to be coming from Team Gates soon? I hear it is going to be really solid and different. Let us in.

Hmm...Well if its the CRX I am thinking of (and the only one there there I know of). Its going to be a SQ car. Not SPL. News travel fast, doesnt it? We are working on a CRX out of Okla City. It will be a SQ car. Until I check with the owner, I think I should leave it at that. It is a nice install. i will check today and see what else I can tell you. Thanks for asking.

Alma you can release any info about my car that you want to. I feel the car will be strong and represent TGI's top notch quality and workmanship to its fullest. I can't wait to break her in. This car is built to be one of the ultimate in SQ reproduction. The car's specifics should only be discussed at this time with Chad the head installer on the project.

Ok, guess we got the go ahead. The CRX does belong to Randy Cole - its going SQ - Pro 601+ (Randy - correct me if I am wrong here) Since Randy visits our fourm, you can ask him questions on this one also. Its going to be a beauty. In case some of you didnt know - Randy competed SQ several years ago and Held several records. He is anxious to get back into SQ.

Randy, very cool that you guys are doing an SQ system. We're trying to convince someone up here to do a full DD SQ system, everyone thinks that the subs are SPL only. Good luck with it.

Sweet, so is the car done and you are just taking time to tune it? Is it possible to get any info on what products will be in it? Any pics you can share?

I no longer work for DD and have not worked for DD since the end of Feb. DD has some excellent sounding subs I hope your people in canada gives them a chance.
I can say that the CRX will be equiped with illusion audio speakers and phoenix gold amps and wiring. I believe the current products Iam using will do the job and hopefully **crosses fingers** I can get in the top 5 this year. So far we are looking at the PRO 601+ class but with the power ratings on the amps I could drop to PRO 301-600 class. I would like to say thanks to all the help that has been given so far towards this project.
Sorry no pics and the install is only 80% done so it will be June before it hits the circuit.

Hate to disappoint you, but the car does not have DD in it. We are using Illusion Audio and Phoenix gold in it.

So does this mean that Randy doesn't believe so much in DD products anymore? Just kidding. Anything coming from Peterson does good, so I don't think you have too much to worry about. I don't think he has ever failed. Is this going to be your red CRX though that you have always had?

Hello Kevin, Glad to see you here. Chad is doing his thing as usual. It is different from what we usually do and 80% finished. Last 20% is the Pretty stuff. Oh heck, its going to be an awesome install! (now we just need to train Randy in SQ?) J/K Randy - For those of you interested, Randy has more patience than I do.

Hey Randy remember me? I see that you too can't get enough of sound q, it gets in your blood. I know we'll never meet in competition probably, too far away and I'm running MECA this year, but I look forward to seeing your install pics. You would really like the Lumina now, it has a very incredible sound to it, and the judges love it too, so thats a plus. Imagine that, a sound that the judges like and I like too.....hmmmm j/k. Oh well, good luck to you and keep it sounding clean.
