Hello Goddess of audio. I had a weird idea and I wanted to run it by you (to get your wise opinion). This follows the lines of the idea of outside sponsorship. What do you think about having everyone, that has a personal interest in db drag, to send e-mails to major media organazation(television, radio, newspaper) and extend to them a invitation to come to an event to learn more aboout what db drag is all about? If the media was offered a personal invitation from people from all over the United States (and some from abroad) to come watch and investigate what spl competition is all about. Now if the media could see a interest (about db drag) from various age groups and from different geographical, regions, would that not strike an interest from the media to investigate the evenst in further detail? Now, if the media begins reports (on a national scale) aboout db drag, more prospects for sponsorship would be easier to gain. My thought into this is, if prospected sponsors could see that thier sponsored vehicles could be seen in a larger market than just the local newspapers or television reports, they would be more willing to sponsor a vehicle. I know that I may be way off track with this, That is why I wanted to get your opinion on this matter. Thank You for your time and consideration into this matter. Good Luck and God Bless.

Well actually that general idea to basically get the media at the shows and get more and more national reports on the sport WOULD with out a doubt make it more visible and then more profitable to corp sponsers.
So I do see what you are saying. I dont know the best way to get the media at the shows but I like the idea....
