Jalapeno jelly is sweet also, so I would assume the cheesecake would be. The jelly is sweet at first and then it has a "bite" to it. I have also tried what Brian is talking about, this past weekend in fact, and it has a sweet taste to it as well. The jalapeno jelly is excellent on bagels.

Oh yeah, something definitely magical about cheesecake. Perhaps Copperfield should have done something with cheesecake, rather than the tornado.....

Who would have ever thought a post about cheesecake would get so much attention on a car audio forum? Its wonderful the way some things that people have in common just bring them all together. Cheescake seems to be a lot like dbDragracing in that way( except more fattening).

Here we go a english recipe

I found this recipe in a magazine about a year ago, and thought, since
we have been talking about cheesecakes lately, someone might be interested.

1 (20 oz.) package OREO chocolate sandwich cookies
1/3 cup margarine, melted
3 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
4 eggs, at room temp.
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Finely roll 30 cookies; coarsely chop 20 cookies.
In bowl, combine finely rolled cookie crumbs and margarine.
Press on bottom and 2 inches up side of 9-inch spring form pan; set aside.

With mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar until creamy; blend in eggs,
sour cream and vanilla extract; fold in chopped cookies. Spread mixture
into prepared crust. Bake at 350 degrees F for 60 minutes or until set.

Cool on wire rack; chill at least 4 hours. Halve remaining cookies;
remove side of pan. Garnish with whipped cream and cookie halves.

The cheesecake for the month of june is!!!!!!!! Key lime just in time for summer
that sounds so good!!!!!

the recipe of the month is choclate banna creame pie.

Ingredients:

1 package (18 ounces) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Chocolate Chip & White Fudge Cookie Dough , softened

1 3/4 cups milk

1 package (3 1/8 ounces) banana cream or vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix

2 medium bananas , sliced

1 cup frozen non-dairy whipped topping , thawed

Chocolate Flavor NESTLÉ® NESQUIK® Chocolate Syrup (optional)

NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels (optional)

Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease 9-inch pie plate.

PRESS 3/4 package cookie dough* onto bottom and up side of pie plate.

BAKE for 18 to 24 minutes or until golden brown; flatten down with back of spoon to form pie shell. Cool completely on wire rack.

BEAT milk and pudding mix according to package directions in small bowl; refrigerate for 5 minutes. Spread 1 cup pudding over cookie crust (save remaining pudding for later use). Top pudding with bananas; spread with whipped topping. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until set. Drizzle with Nesquik; top with morsels. Cut into wedges.

* Bake up extra for an additional treat the kids (and Db dragers) will love!

Enjoy

WOW 6 pages on cheese cake!?! I seen this and then I couldn't resist going through the entire story of this thread (I think thats what they are called). I personally LOVE cheese cake. I hate to look at it, because I usually eat soo much that its vary hard to walk... or get up for that matter afterwards. I have to lay down for about a half hour to let it all sink in... ahhh the thought of it just... I'll be back

Man I have missed out on this topic. But I just have to say that its the best stuff in the world. Tonight my husband and I went out to dinner and dessert. We had pizza at Pizza Hut for dinner but they do not serve dessert there. So he took me to Marble Slab its a icecream place. There the icecream in homemade. And always its the best well I had the Cheesecake on a waffle cone it great. Anyone else had cheese cake ice cream? Just thought I would share my CHEESE CAKE experience with you all. I love it its good stuff...

Thanks for letting me share a little of my day with you all.
