pdo71: Thank's for asking about the digital EQ All digital EQ's are not created equal. The units you listed are all garbage! No just kiding they are good pieces. What we have done with ours is use crystal semiconductors 24 bit d/a convertor and 24 bit a/d convertors. The processing is done with dual precision 96 khz processor. Our piece is 1/3 octave with seperate left and right controls. Some of the other things you will find unique to our poduct is the vacum flourescent display remote control, four user presets, Four negative trigger outputs activated by selecting presets and the ability to control with a computer. When you control with the computer you have an additional 3 bands of parametric equalization for left and three for rightand are adjustable in 1 HZ increments. We tried to make a unit that is really geared toward the competitor. I am pretty excited about the EQ and hopefully you are to. Thank you for your interest. ti knight

Hey Jerry, THanks for answering my questions.
But, how much would one of those digital EQ's cost (msrp)? I'm currently looking at the EQ215ix. I guess this new one will blow away the 215ix? Thanks again.

ZPAO.5 Was an incredible amplifer. They happen to be my favorite amp we have ever built. But with this great amp came some difficulties. Efficiency was not a primary consideration when we desinged this amp. It was about 55% efficient. We did have a few bugs in it due to the complex power supply rail switching. In most cases it works fine. This was the main reason we decided to get rid of the line. When they worked they where the best of the best. The other problem is that most people could not accept the fact that they still needed a line driver even though they had a 4 volt head unit. Most people thought they did not need one. This is one of the only car amps out there with out any op amps in the input stage. It was all discrete circuitry. I know that they are'nt cheap but neither is a rolls royce.

I've got a doozy of a question. If you can't answer it, I'll understand, but I'm curious. A certain other car audio company who shall remain nameless, makes a line of amplifiers which very closely resembles some Phoenix Gold product. Are there any plans to sue the pants off them, or are you going to let it ride on reputation.

Spoken like a true gentleman (although I was going to for the "Jerry Springer-We're going to sue the pants off them" response).
