if i had dual 2 ohm....parallel 1 ohm and series 4 ohm....lets say i had an amp that played 1200w @ 1 ohm and 1200w @ 4 ohm....same amount of power and everything.....but the difference is my connection is either parallel or series...i have heard that parallel connection gains SPL....which is better series or parallel? whats the difference besides the ohms shown to the amp?
Thanks

No Discernable difference. The 4 ohm load and the 1 ohm load would make the amp react differently. But thats an amp question that you didnt ask.

ok, so what would this amp question be? is it like this :
say i have 1 cadence A7 and @ 1 ohm it does 1200w .... now with 2 A7 strapped together with the PM1 i will get 1200w @ 4 ohm...??

Straight from a tech at DD. Series is preferable, because it doubles the BL(?I think that's what it was.) factor of the woofer, and increases control, while parallel halves BL.
