Dunno, I'm only about 1/4 of the way done with the install...nothing is live yet. I did test the location with a regular box before I started though and it sounded good, so we'll see -------------------- Carl Fisher CarAudio Resources

GndPrx: Very nice workmanship! I'll bet that was fun to wrap. Something similar was done by Doug Humphrey in a blazer. It sounded very nice. http://www.linearpower.com/html/blazer.html Have a good one. [ 09-30-2002, 08:05 AM: Message edited by: Thunder ] -------------------- Thunder. aka: "Jimmy Walker" TIPS Inc. Finaly, Large enough cup holders! That's cool. How much time is in the project so far? -------------------- -

Well, that was actually the 3rd wrap in the same day...considering I'm not using the heat form vinyl (not enough color selection) it was a royal pain in the a$$ to do with no help. I'm still not happy with it though...a few lumps I hadn't counted on showed up after wraping...previous contact cement that had balled up and I missed it on clean up between wraps and a few places were over streatched deforming the vinyl. I'm probably going to strip it one more time to try and get a good clean wrap. But at least now I know where the right "pull" points are and how to get it to lay right. spydermann, yeah IDQ10d4 and you can also see the brackets for the horns in those pics. Thanks for the good comments so far -------------------- Carl Fisher CarAudio Resources

Why in blue? It doesn't seem to match the rest of the interior (unless you are redoing that too). It looks awesome otherwise! Hope it works out for ya! -------------------- Jake '02 Subaru WRX - DEX-P9 - DEQ-P9 - PPI PC2200 - Kicker RS5 - Kicker XS50 - 2 10" Kicker Comps - [PPI PC4200 possibly up for sale]

Everything will eventually be two tone for the interior...I'm wishing the navy vinyl was a little darker, but once I re-cover it I'll probably just vinyl dye it darker. The rest of the trim work will be painted the truck color and eventually the seats as well... [ 10-02-2002, 04:57 AM: Message edited by: GndPrx ] -------------------- Carl Fisher CarAudio Resources
