I'm not really building a completely custom sonsole I'm just modifing mine. in the front part I want to modify it and have my A/V controls, and inside the console will be the crossovers for the component speakes and I know I want to add some cup holders to it, because a 1986 Cutlass Salon had no cup holders.
1. How do you make cup holders with fiber glass?
Then in the rear seat I want to install a two 12 volt power receptacle(for cell phone chargers, etc.)
2.Where do I buy the plugs?
Then I want to have remote plugs for the playstation 2, that will be under the front passenger seat on top(I want it to look like the pic below but with the plugs on top of the console)
inside the console console will be a custom add-on fuse panel for all the added on accesories along with a 300 watt power inverter. But what I would like is a refrigerated compartment like in the gloce box in the 97 Cadilac Catera

I forgot about the door pods. I want two 6-1/2's or two 5-1/4's in each door, but should I do MDF door pods like
or should I do a fiberglass install?I want to do the fiberglass install but I don't know where to start, I really love the way the fiberglass ones look, I want mine to look identical with the ones below

Can't be a lot of help, as I've never done anything like this, but I think I've seen the 12V plugs at an O'Rileys or some other parts store. Also, I have a suggestion for the PS2 controller plugs. I'm pretty sure you can buy controller extension cords. If so, get 2 and mold one end of each into the console. This will allow you to place the PS2 where you want it (under seat, etc.) and will also allow you to take it out for use in your house if you want. In other words, it won't have to become a permanent part of the car.
