Alright, I am redoing my door panels. I am trying to come up with a way to make a set of nice looking, yet durable grills. The only thing I can come up with, is to make a frame (aluminum or wood haven't decided yet). Then some sort of aluminum screen with grill cloth over it. These are going to be the type of grill that flush mounts into a recessed cutout specificaly there for the grill. The only thing I don't like about this idea, is the grill cloth part. I cannot think of a way to make the grill, so it will be clean enough looking, without using some sort of grill cloth. From experience, I know how often these type of grills get put to use. AKA foot meets grill. I don't think rill cloth is durable enough. I don't want to make plate with holes drilled in it either. I want the solidly covered look that you get from a tightly messed grill, or grill cloth. Let the idea's flow [Smile]

Plmouth eh? Not too far away.

What I want to eventually do is have a logo cut out of a circle of aluminum and have that mounted over the black Kicker speaker grills (on a RS5 set). Basically just a show off piece.

Or you could do a logo cut out with screen or cloth behine it, or even in front of it.
