What do you think about using bondo on my sub box. i got this crazy idea that i want to do. working with it is not a problem. i'm just not sure if it would hold up to the abuse my subs are going to give it. by the way, it wouldn't be much bondo. for the most part it would be a light coat. just enough to be able to sand it smooth and paint it. i'd say the thickest would be about 1/4 of an inch, but only in a few places.

i have two words for u. fiberglass resin. coat the bondo and box with it after the bondo is smoothly sanded. then sand the resin down. however if the bondo is 1/4 inch thick then i wouldnt worry to much about it. bondo gets pretty hard after it cures for a night. resin will harden up and make it stronger if u deside to go that rout. just my thoughts. peace dk
