We are now making these units for most vehicles. If you are interested please let us know and we can tell you what we have available. We can also make them with small tweeters on the sides as well.

Funny that you should say that. One guy called us and asked if he could watch it while he was driving. I told him yeah I guess you could but more than likely you will wreck. Not to smart in my opnion to ask a question like that.

"Need a airbag"? I don't think they are required.

It is good for show vehicles or for those people with blown out bags. It only takes 5 minutes to switch between your stock bag and this unit.

Hmm, Wonder how hard it is to get pieces of LCD display out of ones head after that guy in front of you checks up on the way home.

The wiring is proprietary. We do not give it out unless you buy the item.

You guys better have some good lawyers. If one of your clients causes a wreck that kills some people and it is shown he was watching TV when it happened, lawyers are going to be all over that in a heartbeat. Conversely, if you buy one, realize that you will be potentially opening yourself up to lawsuits if you use it while driving. Not trying to put a damper on things, just remind people of the reality this day and age where ambulance chaser lawyers seem out to ruin everything for everyone . . .

We are not liable for any injuries or damages since we have a liability form that must be signed and sent to us before the product can be ordered. We know how stupid some people can be. This topic was not for people to be negative but to ask what people what they think about the fiberglass work.

Someone apparently hasnt been sued before. That paper is worthless when A lawyer gets involved.
Might not be the person who signed the paper driving. Heck could be the driver of the car that is hit.

As for how it looks, Looks nice, but not practial and downright dangerous.

Well then I guess that when you buy and use every part for your vehicles that is labeled for off-road use only you can sue the manufacturer as well. I don't think so. It is for show use not every day drivers. When you use an item like this it is your own responsibility. Just like in-dash monitors that are only supposed to be used while parked. Just jumper the wire for the e-brake and it is illegal right. If it is going to be a bitch session then please have a MOD delete this post. I did not post here to hear everyone be negative and worry about getting sued. Thanks for those people that really liked it and did not think first off about the negative aspects

Nice to see some good custom car audio work from here in PA.

I think for safety porposes the installer could easily hook it up to only run with the key in accessory. - so it cant be on with the car running. .. Or even on an automatic tranny car - have it shut off when the cars in drive.

from Cycloneman[/qb]
as of 1995 all production cars have to have a drivers and pass. side airbag[/QB]
finish the quote, which the rest of it is "as of 1995 all production cars have to have a drivers and pass side airbag when they are sold as a new vehicle, or a program car from a new dealership. 90% of the vehicles sold by a current manufacturer that is intended to be driven on public roads must contain both airbags. "

also, it is illegal for shops to remove or alter in any way the airbag. however, it is not illegal for the owner of the car to do so.

you would need to run a relay to keep the airbag light off on the dash.

good luck, keep up the good work, it looks neat. good for navigation i would think.

Just because you don't have an airbag in your car doesn't mean you're going to instantly die if you get in a wreck- think of how many vehicles came before airbags and how many people lived (and also died lol). I agree with drosen145- you can take the airbag out if you want.
ALSO- you can remove your airbag, sell it, and get that monitor and have some extra cash around. Don't airbags cost around $1K?

True, but not having airbags definitely does decrease you odds of survival. I know that mine saved my life when I totaled my truck on July 28 of this year.
