I got bored today and decided to finally do something mildly constructive. Just as I was lighting the m-80 hovering above my culligan bottle, i remembered I was gonna make a subbox out of it.

I've never even built a wood one. The only way to cut a hole is with a power drill, and then attack it with a jigsaw. After 30 min of cussing at it, I had me a shiny new hole. I tried to put a 10 in, but it barely won't fit. Thanks to my crappy hole-cutting skills, an 8 should fit nicely though. Only problem is I don't have one laying around. I think I'm just gonna go down to the pawnshops cause mail order wouldn't be practical. In the meantime, you can send your donations to:

The Give Me a Friggin Woofer Foundation
1518 Colorady Boulevard
Podunk, MT 456465

I even kept the cap, just to see if it'll blow off!

If a 10 barely won't fit, then an 8 should fall right through!!

In 1995 i had four coke 3liter bottles in the corner of our sound room with 6 1/2 kickers in them and they sounded good. the local pepsi distrubitor had me do it in his trunk and i used four 2liter with 4 5 1/4 and he loved it. In my girlfriends car that same year i put a polk audio 8 inch in a culligan bottle it whisteled alittle so i cut the little lip off the end and it sounded great it had a pretty smooth curve and low cut off was at 38 hz. She hated having a culligan bottle in the trunk so i put a 10 in a small sealed box in it and it did not sound as good and was not as loud.
