Getting ready to do my doors in a 93 Ranger with RF 8" XLC's. Is the Noise Block or Punch Roll the better option. I have heard a lot about the Punch Roll, but not much on the spray on Noise Blocker. Any info would help on the two products and which one is the best.

Thank you!

So, how do I go about using both? Do I put the mat down and then spray over the mat? Also, if I do not use both, which one would be better?

that's what I mean....do a little research, check some of the other posts. I'm not sure of the link off-hand, but its a fairly comprehensive page on the best way to sound deaden.....I for example, used ice guard(yeah i know it's cheap, but so am I) and used 3 layers on the outer skin, 3 layers on the inner skin, and sprayed the other side of the inner skin, then used two layers on the door panel. when you do your research, you'll find out that not all dampening materials deaden sound, and not all sound deadeners will stop your rattles, and some work much better than others, and there is a big difference in price among them all....its an on-going search between Nik and I to find the absolute best bang for the buck.

I like to spray the outer skin and use mat on the inner skin - both to damp rattles and to seal all the holes...
