Planning the center console and dash build-ups. Do you fill the center console with spray foam? make it solid wood? I am trying to figure out access pannel for shifter and such and thinking on how I am going to make the console work.

I think I am going 3 inch mdf with 2x4 bracing, then filled with foam sealing around a piece of PVC caped to allow access to shifter.
I bought a car last night ;-) Isuzu Impulse 84. 3 hours later it was stripped down and had a 2 dollar spray paint tint job on rear windows. Starting the buildups today. I will be posting the whole venture in my pictures page (on team noisy toys site) when I get time. Anybody want to paint it for me ;-) The paint is just faded but all the body is STRAIGHT. Got to run do some welding. Thanks for all the help!
