im making a pair of running boards for a 09 grand vitara is there any specs of things i should be looking out for or be cautious about and for the brackets is it ok to use angle iron for it atleast 1/4 thick and im looking to use three brackets one each side and weld it to a 2 by 1 by 6 (Width/Height/Length)steel tubing to form the running boards if thats ok please let me know and ive done some 6 1/2" kick panels already for the jeep but i dont like them too much and is 6 1/2" speakers too big or is it better to use 5 1/4"?
