ok im building an extreme car first attempt at doing one. i have only ever built cars for Street max and Superstreet using a convential wall in little htchback cars. after 4 years i have decided i want to step up and play with something more serious.
what i need help and advise with is what size i should make my subs enclosure. below is a picture of roughly how i am proposing to build the car inside. its not the greatest pic in the world but i hope it sort of explains what im going to be doing.
-Basically its a standard enclosure with port on the drivers side. -then in front of the baffle about 14inches will be the loading wall roughly the same size as the baffle. -then on the drivers side of the centre console will act as the second port. -passenger side of the car will be as small as its allowed to be made while staying within the extreme rules.
hope the picture explains it a little as im not the greatest at drawing designs.
subs to be used are 4x 15'' RE MT's with around 30,000wrms of power.
any help would be very much appreciated
cheers billy

in extreme, is the baffle/loading wall aloud to come across much more than half way?? i'm not sure
For the MT's in a ported enclosure within a bandpass setup, i would figure about 2.6-3.2cf per sub. I would do separate chambers for the top woofers, and another for the bottom. It will add strength and more importantly help with loading issues
