Added a layer of glass to the inner radius pieces. Will be adding a couple more layers to it tomorrow and doing some sanding in prep for the next stage.
5/4/2009 Got a little more done... weather has treated me a little better but not a whole lot.. hoping for a good weekend. Here is some pictures of the underside getting some attention. None of these pieces are permanently in place but they will be soon.

Thanks for the compliments I am putting alot into this one.
Last show did a 148.5 at the dash on 1700 watts but it's going to get much louder than that. The box is leaking all over and it is 2 pieces just held in place at the moment until I paint it... only then can I adhere the two pieces together. I need to do that soon so I can use both amps... new subs should be in soon which I believe will also get it louder. Sundown Nightshade subs are ordered.

New Toyz!!! Been waiting for these BadBoys!! Love em! Thanks Jacob! (2) 15" 2ohm DVC Sundown Nightshades!
Time to Break them in!
Rubber gaskets are just sitting on top of the edge, just laid them there for the hell of it. Didn't want to put them on since they will be coming back out soon and they fit really tight in the recessed area.. not an easy task but love the fit. Posts: 32 | From: Missouri | Registered: Feb 2008

Been a while since I have updated this post but here are some recent pics. Still far from completion as I have many projects at all times but I will still be working on it til completion.
Can't really answer the question about port angle being better or not since I didn't have the port flat facing straight back to begin with, I'll never know. It was just a theory and thought it would look cool.
As far as the two piece question:
The entire bottom of the enclosure and the entire back of the enclosure are connected as one piece and the rest of the enclosure is another piece, so basically my box has leaks between the ports and the back side of the enclosure as well. I have it sealed up quite well at the moment for finals but it is a temporary seal. I had to do it this way so the inside of the port could be painted properly. Once I paint the enclosure automotive finish I install the back/bottom section of the box and only then can I glue/resin it to the rest of the enclosure. I can't wait to get to that point.
The sides of the enclosure with all the lit rods are no where near finished as I have yet to mold fit them with the interior contours but that will be done before too long.. the black primer will have to come back off for the most part but felt I had to get it looking descent for shows.

Man... I wish I knew, I gained like 2-3dB from the other subs but did so much work to it like sound deadener and changes the port a little among other small things I really couldn't tell you what gained what at this point.
