learn like every other red-blooded american does.....just do it. get out there, buy yourself a $10 fiberglass repair kit from a hardware store and make yourself somethin. they have a little instruction manual and pretty much tell ya what not to. A video will give ya helpfull tips and hints, but experience is the best way to learn.

In the same boat here. I'll probably do what Koolade9 said - practice making stuff with f.glass. I'd guess for practice that various odds and end could be fiberglassed such as an old pot or pan, or the neighbor's cat. hehehe! j/k Steve

be carefull when mixing it though if you put in too much hardner it will start smoking!! its kinda neat but it also puts off major heat. I watched Bubba and Chilli (pure sound) put the fiberglass floor in the blue geo storm with the two stroker 18s, and when it started smokeing that was awesome!! and ill agree with proaudio make sure you are in a well vented area!! I heard some stuff like ya had to wear a full body suit? Is that true? And just wonderinga also, how does one usually shape the kicks to the car...you can't just shove fibreglass all over your car while you're molding it.

im interested in learning how to fiberglass stuff too. WHat exactly happens when you put too much hardenerin the mix. it smokes! I hope it soesn't catch fire. What is bondo exactly? This fiberglassing opens up whole nother door in car audio for me, after i get the hang of it maybe ill learn all the different types of relays you can make. I know how to build boxes, hook up an amp & head unit, and now its time to learn some more.
