Can anyone tell me a good place to get cheap plexi or lexan? I am looking for a thickness of 3/4 to 1 inch. Need to know what it comes in for sizes too...... Is it sold in 4x8 and 4x10 sheets or like metal and sold by weight of just what you need?
I would like to get my hands on a 10 foot by 3 foot chunk......But plans are still in the works so the sizes can still be fudged.

Try a local plastics supplier. I think there is a US Plastics (might be the wrong name) in Omaha that I had bought some 3/4" plexi there back in 99-00 timeframe.

Also try http://www.estreetplastics.com but can't comment on their service or anything, never bought from them. Saw their site this week.

I get my fiberglass supplies there too including body filler.

Associated Plastics supplies all types of plastic sheet, rod and tube. Full sheets, stock sizes or custom cut. They have clear acrylic sheet up to 2" thick with great prices. They also have a CNC router table that can cut and shape 3D up to 5feet x 10feet
