Use the same thing you would cut metal pipe with. I guess its called a pipe cutter? lol.
Its got a little pizza cutting wheel that is tightened around the pipe by a knob. Spin it around till you have perfectly straight clean cut.

I use a jigsaw with the smooth/clean cut blades. Its pretty smooth if you cut slow. Then sand it if its not perfect.

table saw works for me

miter saw would be good for small pvc (chop saw)

on a construction job i saw someone using one of those big gas cement saws with an abrasive blade on it cutting some 10" pvc...made me laugh...

Metal blade on a jig saw. Use masking tape to wrap around to create a straight line.

You can allways make room toys on the workbench

Sawzall AKA reciprocating saw with the metal blade or another high TPI blade. Like someone else said, wrap it in tape to get a strait line

Table saw works great...I find it easier if I stack and stagger a few pieces of MDF like a set of stairs and make them a little longer than the length I want to cut of the pvc. I push the stair guide in towards the saw until the saw cuts into the stair guide by about 1.5-2''. I then hold the stair with one hand and roll the pvc with the other hand. Having the stair there helps roll the PVC without it getting off center and helps prevent binding up the saw. It might not be the safest way but it works great for me and I get straight cuts everytime.

Was waiting on this. Just ask Carlton about cutting PVC on a table saw. Sorry to bring up old memories. So, how is the hand buddy?
