well like most old crxs under carrage is rusted preaty good......... [Frown]

so ive definatly gotta do some welding.
BUT i still want the car to be light since its a HF model which has quite a few lighter weight parts to get alot beter milage....
and i want to fill the holes BUT i dont want to add alot of weight! and i dont think fiberglass would be safe enough expetialy since it doesnt have a frame on these things [Frown]

i should be geting my rebuilt carb preaty soon and then ill be able to find out how good she can realy run and also drive.LOL thats the main thing. just drive it around the block and back. then ill be pulling it into the shop and start HACKEN out the rust and either replacing or reinforcing it here and thier. definatly gonna be welded in fully as well no rivets and sealer gonna be used!
the cars already a death trap in a bad wreck.LOL but O THAT MILAGE IS SO SWEET!!!!!

BUT ANYWAYS...... what thinkness metal should i use for this old girl?
or should i just wait and hack it out and take that to the steel shop?

hopefully it wont take alot of work to get this sucker on the road as safe as i can [Wink]

id also build some extra boxes so i can swap the equipment outta my truck into it for any long road trips and stereo comps. would be kinda cool to meter one car.... then jerk it out and see what the same thing with different boxes do in my truck. LMFAO
