Anyone glued pieces of plexi together?

I'm trying to add a second layer to an existing windshield , but can't bolt them together. Any suggestions on a glue to use that you'll still be able to to see through the glass pretty clear?

At work we use Methylene Chloride (MC). It works well for acrylic and ok on plexi. If you do use it you will need lots of weight on your glass so the MC will spread evenly and leave no air bubbles. You have to work fast with this stuff, it starts to bond in about 15 sec.. We tried it the first year in extreme and the windows turned out horrible. lol
Thats the only stuff I can think of thats clear and bonds. I wouldn`t do it again tho. Mabye someone else on here has a better way.

Yeah, I tested a piece with epoxy, and it is plenty clear, but the air bubbles are the problem. From everyone i've talked to, it may happen whether I like it or not [Frown]

Plus I'll be putting them on, with the first layer already bolted into place. So all I can do is sit there and push on it really hard to get the air bubbles out, doh!
