ive used cheap trim panel plastic clips before. just drill into the cover piece and then insert one of the clips thru it,,, grind the wood down enough so it will sit inset and you can use some wood filler over the top and sand it down smooth so it looks like nothings thier from the outside....

thats pretty tuff there, can someone say "SPAGETTI AND LASAGNA SOME LINGUINIE MILD FIRE HAZARD EXTERNAL X-OVER WITH REMOTE AND POWER ON ONE CONNECTOR. AS FAR AS COVERING IT UP, I WOULD TAKE IT ALL OUT, RE-DO THAT BOX AND AMP COVER THAT HAS VENTALATION, YOU MAY ALSL INVEST IN A ROUTER SO THAT ALL THE EDGES HAVE THAT NICE ROUND LOOK, EASIERTO COVER. I WILL TRY AND POST SOME PICS OF THIS GUYS 350Z, TOOK ME 60+ HOURS ON THE INSTALL. COST HIM 10 G'S. YOU CAN MAKE YOURS LOOK LIKE 10G'S, JUST HAVE TO TAKE YOUR TIME AND RE-DO IT. BEST OF LUCK,NATE..

ALRIGHT, MY TURN! I am the WIFE! As for comments on the vinyl job. go jump off a cliff. I did it in 15 minutes. Cheap vinyl has a lot to do with it. It is NOT stretchy vinyl. IT IS NOT for cars. It is house hold vinyl. It is not designed to be pulled to tightness. ALSO it is MY CAR! I like the way it looks AND nothing is sealed off. Where in the heck to you all get that???? the amp and the battery are only behind an imaginary board so you don't have to stare at them. as for the amp?? are you insane? inverting the amp has no problem. You are crazy if you think that turning the amp upside down will hurt it. why in the heck do you think that they take the time to put plexiglass behind some of them to begin with?? for $h!t$ and giggles?? as for my vinyl work, my box was the second one I have ever done. and my friend's box has a special flap on the side of it like she wanted. My first box was awesome, and since it is just starting out, none of it was automotive vinyl. if you are good at anything you should at least know the darn difference between automotive vinyl and household, let me see what I can call it, ummm common sense??!

finally, I asked you early for you to do that. I also meant that you need to go to school for speaker work not just normal school. If you could read correctly you would know that much!

im not known to agree with DBB but im with him on this one....that vinyl job on that box had nothing to do with how cheap the material is. It really looks like you dont know what your doing but hey no ones perfect.
