I bought an install kit for my Eclipse cd player, but the portion above the kit which is a plastic piece that holds a 3 cd holder that pops in and out does not fit back right. I looked into the liquid plastic stuff but am unsure of exactly what need to be bought. I would also like to form my existing a pillar tweeter pods a little nicer. They are made of fiberglass and bondoed with a coat of spray paint. Would the liquid plastic adhere to the pods?

why not just make your own out of mdf?
its a very simple piece to cut, and 3/4" MDF fits PERFECTLY in there.
