Heatformable vinyl? Select Products has it.
Or you can call American Terminal Supply and get their vinyl...works really well, has a better grain than the HF vinyl...but not quite as stretchy...but A LOT cheaper.

thanks 4 the info...heatformable vinyl means you can wrap a panel with vinyl and were you would normally get wrinlkes when you heat it up it shrinks and forms to the contours perfectly....for the extra sweet install..

That's what i wanted to hear! So how well does it work? Is that HF vinyl from selectproducts the good stuff?
I would really like to wrap my door panel in vinyl but it has way too complex for regular vinyl.

How complex? I got some good curves covered in my trunk with the vinyl from ATS. And it has a better grain than the HF stuff.

The HF vinyl from select products doesn't shrink, its just very pliable when heated. I continue to say when it comes up that it is the hardest vinyl I have ever worked with. Its very thick, the backing is not friendly for applying contact cement, and if you have any intense concave angles the thickness will fight you. The secret to vinyl is knowing how to fabricate the piece so its vinyl friendly, if you don't have that skill, the HF's cons almost wash out the pros.
THe HF is tough as nails though, very scuff and scratch resistant. Like Winslow says, the grain isn't that impressive either. My kicks are made with the HF, and my center console with the Monte carlo series. To give you an idea of how hard it is to work with, the kicks were a much harder vinyl job than the center console, just because of the HF. I used it though because you can walk on the stuff and not worry about scuffing it. The monte carlo isn't that tough.
